There are many different options for breakfast that we can choose from but almost every breakfast should have fruit in some form. Fruit provides vitamins and nutrients that help our body’s in many different ways throughout the day. So if every breakfast should have fruit in some capacity, why not just enjoy breakfast smoothies instead?
Breakfast smoothies are a great way to get all of the benefits from fruits and even veggies without doing too much work.
What are breakfast smoothies? We’ve all heard about green smoothies or detox smoothies, even breakfast shakes. All of the above can be considered a breakfast smoothie. Breakfast serves many different purposes but most importantly we want it to provide us with the energy we need to get through the first part of the day.
While a plate of pancakes, drenched in syrup sounds amazing, it isn’t exactly the breakfast of champions. (Unless … they are our protein pancakes, found right here!) For example, did you know that berries like blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries provide 8 grams of fiber per cup as well as antioxidants that protect your heart?
It’s impressive to see that something as small as a cup of berries can provide so many health benefits. Now use the knowledge of the power of fruit to make the best breakfast smoothies.
